Exhibitions

Some pieces in our collection perfectly exemplify their era, maker, or style and over the years, a select few of these special pieces have been displayed at various exhibitions around the world. Below are just a few of the most recent exhibitions our jewels have featured in.

Weiss Gallery

In 2021, Berganza lent an incredible Tudor enamelled skull ring to the Weiss Gallery in London, allowing Memento Mori jewellery to be shown in the context of historic portraiture.

Marchak at Gem Geneva

Following the onset of war in Ukraine, at Gem Geneva 2022, an exhibition shone a spotlight on beautiful Ukrainian jewels, both past and present.

The story of Marchak began in 1878 in Kiev, when Joseph Marchak, a jeweller and goldsmith by trade, established his own jewellery house. He would go on to be known as one of the finest jewellers in the Russian Empire, rivalling Fabergé, and earning the accolade, 'Cartier of Kiev'.

Berganza is privileged to have acquired several pieces by Marchak over the years, and lent two of our rings to be displayed at the exhibition, which was an unqualified success.

Vever Exhibition: ‘Dans L'intimité de Vever, bijoux et objets d'art depuis 1821'

In 2023, maison Vever showcased their jewels and heritage at their ‘Dans L'intimité de Vever, bijoux et objets d'art depuis 1821' exhibition. Located at their 9, rue de la Paix address, it allowed visitors to be immersed in the intimacy of their history. Revealing the facets and inspirations behind Vever, on display were original and exceptional Vever pieces and works of art from the family’s personal archives, as well as private collections.

As part of the exhibition, Berganza loaned one of our own Vever pieces, an enamel and gold brooch, original to 1900.
